  16. 586/100Mhz or the DEC/275Mhz.  It's a sad fact when speed and price is

  26.     Ah, as always, the gaming crack.  Look past the kiddie stuff
  27. and look at the serious stuff the Amiga shames the PC at.

  29.     Os/2 Warp has taken alot of ideas from the Amiga OS, but that
  30. doesn't mean I fell in love with my 486/dx-2 66.  It's a shitty
  31. machine that doesn't work half as well as the Ami (IMHO).

  34. least OS/2 has it's ass on straight.

  43.     I can't argue with the fact that droves are leaving the
  44. system.  However, I think that while lots of folks are leaving, there
  45. are just as many who HAVE the software and hardware they need to do
  46. serious work.  As long as that continues to be, I can get my work done
  47. and I'll be just fine.

  49.     As for NewTek ceasing LW development for the Ami.... I don't
  50. doubt it.  They gave the Ami something it might have had -- a better
  51. chance.  Can't be bitter about that.  However, when it comes to the
  52. bottom line, the Ami isn't worth the effort, right?
